Photograph

• Recent passport-style colour photograph.
• Light-coloured, preferably white, background.
• Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face; no harsh shadows or red-eye.
• Glasses only if there are no reflections and the eyes are clearly visible.
• Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed if it does not cover the face.

Signature

• Sign on white paper with a black ink pen.
• Not in capital letters.
• Must match the signature you put on the call letter and attendance sheet at the exam, or you can be disqualified.

Left thumb impression

• Left thumb impression on white paper, in black or blue ink.
• JPG / JPEG, 240 × 240 pixels at 200 DPI.
• No left thumb: use the right thumb.

Hand-written declaration

• Written by you, in English, on white paper with black ink.
• Not in capital letters — it is not accepted otherwise.
• The text: “I ____ (Name of the candidate), ____ (Date of Birth) hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left-hand thumb impression is of mine.”
